To complement the core business of systems integration, DESICO manufactures a line of specialty products for the security market. Our aim is to provide a better alternative for certain intrusion-detection and access projects that require equipment with specific characteristics.

The equipment here displayed are destined to security systems with centralized supervision by computer, designed specifically to be integrated into our system, VIGIPLUS.

This security hardware for alarm control follows the distributed-control model and is composed of autonomous substations connected to the computer via RS232, RS485 and TCP/IP. Also available are a number of elements for recruitment, performance and monitoring necessary for this type of facility.

In the chapter "Other equipment" you can find a series of products either manufactured or distributed by DESICO, generally auxiliary equipment for use in some integration projects.

Types of buses and connecting links between the different equipment in the system:

  • Control Bus: Between the substation (C2100) and the modules of the system.
  • Keyboards Bus: Between the substation (C2100) and the monitoring keyboards (TD1001).
  • RS232 Link: Nearby connection between the substation (C2100) and the supervisory PC.
  • RS485 Link: Remote or multiple connection between the substation (C2100) and the supervisory PC.
  • IP Network Connection: Connection between the substation (C2100) and the supervisory PC through Local Area Network.
  • Fibre-optic Link: Connection between distributors and amplifiers (D204F).

CONTROL BUS

Maximum capacity per substation:

  • 128 zones and 64 relays.
  • 600 metres (without amplifier) and / or 32 addresses.
  • 3 dealers / amplifiers in cascade.

Cable type:

  • Cable approved for Rs485, according to ANSI EIS/TIA-485.
  • Twisted-pair cable with cross-section area of 0.35-mm2 and low capacitance (40 to 60 pF/m).

Connection:

  • With screw connection into socket strips.

KEYBOARDS BUS

  • 8 terminals.
  • 1,200 metres.
