The C2100 intrusion central is an intelligent unit for use in security installations as a equipment for controlling intruder alarms, with a security grade 2, environmental class II.

It works integrated into VIGIPLUS centralized system through TCP / IP Standard Link, autonomously from the areas under its control.

CAPACITY

You can connect zone input modules, action output modules, reader controllers or control keypads, being the maximum capacity for each substation of:

  • Zone inputs: 128
  • Action outputs: 64
  • Supervisory Terminals: 8

In any case, when calculating an installation you need to take into account that the sum of addresses in the control bus does not exceed 32 elements, considering that the equipments of 16 zones occupy 4 addresses.

As many stations as needed can be installed in a system through IP or serial ports. If necessary, stations can be interfaced with the RS485 bus.

COMMUNICATIONS

The station has an IP connection, a RS232 port and a RS485 port internally linked for making a transparent connection.

In addition, it has connection with Alarm Receiving Centre either using its own IP connection or through RTC by telephone modem already incorporated.

The management of field data is done through the "Control Bus" to which the zone input modules, the action output modules, the reader controllers and control keyboards are connected. The maximum bus length is of 600 metres and if necessary signal amplifiers can be installed.

  • Tamper: Status of the tamper alarm of the Remote-Station cabinet.
  • Control Bus: Activity in the zone-input card buses.
  • Keyboard Bus: Activity in the monitoring keyboard buses.
  • Power: Status of the alarm of the main circuit of the power supply.
  • Battery Alarm: Status of the alarm of the battery charger circuit of the power supply.
  • Bus-485: Indicates the activity in this connection.
  • LAN: Activity indicators in this connection.
EQUIPMENTS

The nerve centre of the system is the CPU, or central processing unit, the nerve center to which each equipment unit connects in one way or another:

  • Input / output modules connected to the control bus.
  • Control-bus amplifier to increase the distance from the bus or for later conversion to fibre optic technology.
  • Local monitoring terminal on separate RS485 bus. The independence from the main bus ensures the autonomy of operation in case of failure.
  • Control keyboards that are connected to the control bus and may perform three key tasks: to control access, act as patrol point and also to work as control keyboards to enable / disable groups of areas (partitions) of the substation which it is connected to.
  • Control access reader, connected to the control bus.

(1) INSTALLATION:
