The E2016 module is an electronic card that performs the functions of analogue detection of alarms with line supervision and sabotage of the detector (five states: standby, alarm, crossed line, line cut-off and tamper).

It works integrated with the intelligent substation that is connected to the card bus and can be installed in a distributed way up to a maximum distance of 600 m from the substation.

The module allows the automatic disconnection of the card bus in case of failure, and also enables the remote control of the connection and disconnection to that bus through the monitoring system.

Every subhead office admits up to 8 modules of this type, though they can be mixed by those of 4 zones. The capacity of each one is of:

INDICATORS

A set of 8 LEDs allows knowing the local status of the module:

  • Zone Alarm: A lighting code shows the status of each area (alarm, standby, tamper or disabled).
  • Bus: Status of the connection with the card bus.
  • Power Supply: Power and failure status of the unit.
  • Relays: Activation status of the action relays.
  • Tamper: Tamper-alarm status of the remote-station cabinet.
POWER SUPPLY

It operates on 12-Vdc external power, with a consumption of 45 mA when in standby mode and a maximum consumption of 175 mA. It also has a voltage alarm and analogue telemetry of the same.

INSTALLATION

The bottom of the equipment is prepared for easy installation on a DIN-standard mounting rail. The connection is made via pluggable terminal block.
